1.0 Introduction

The WP-HR Manager is a WordPress plugin.  It is designed to help HR managers, business owners and employees manage their organisation’s personnel information and processes.

Employees can access their records in two ways:

  • Front End View – When you log in to your employee portal, the website may automatically send you to a ‘front end’ – this is the nice looking part of a website designed for easier use.  Here you can manage your profile, view the dashboard and the organisation directory.
  • Back End View – This is the area where a lot of the websites administration goes on. Depending on how your webmaster has set up the system, you may not be able to easily access this area or even see it.  However, it contains the same features and functionality for managing your profile as the front end screens.

This guide will show you how to manage your profile using the front end screens only.

How to Log On

When your manager adds you to the system you will receive an email with a link to the logon screen plus a username and password.  If you cannot find the log on link, you can always try:  www.yourwebsite.com/wp-login.php
