Defaulting employees to the front end means that when an employee logs in, they do not see the WordPress dashboard with all the plugins – instead they are sent to a nice looking web page with their profile.
You can choose to set this as a default for all employees – or change their settings on an individual basis.
To set the default, navigate to: WP Dashboard → WPHR Settings → Settings → General and tick the ‘Redirect to Profile Page’ check box.
To adjust this setting for individual employees:
WP Dashboard → WPHR Manager → Employees
Select your employee profile and click on their ‘Permissions‘ tab.
