In some organisations it is the HR manager who approves leave requests and in some the line manager (or both may be allowed to do this).
In the Pro version of WP-HR Manager you can enable HR Managers or Line Managers to receive or not receive leave notification emails and you and also enable/disable their ability to approve leave requests. This can be done on a per-employee basis.
Go to the sidebar menu WPHR Manager =>HR Managers (or Line Managers)
The HR Managers screen sets the capabilies for ALL users who have been designated as a HR Manager.
For line managers – you must first define who the line manager is for each employee. To do this, amend the Employee Profile. In the Job Tab, Job Information section, edit ‘Reports To’ to specify the employee’s line manager.
